This company is a Mechanical and Electrical Building Services engineering consultancy based in Co. Antrim. They are a newly established business run by a highly experienced team of engineers with a wealth of experience in the Building Services contracting and consulting industry.
Your new role
Due to project demands, this company has an immediate need for someone who is proficient in Computer Aided Design. Initially you will be focused on creating 2D schematic M&E drawings for an 8-storey hotel. This will include ventilation, plumbing and waste details for construction drawings. As you will be working closely with the Senior Engineer, you don't need to have previous experience of M&E design drawings as the Senior Engineer will guide and support you.
The duration of the contract is initially until the end of September 2024. However, due to continued growth in workload, the contract may extend or become permanent.
Based in Ballyclare from the company's office, you will be provided with a fully equipped CAD workstation.
This role would be suitable for a graduate or experienced person, as the salary and workload would be adjusted accordingly.
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this position you must be proficient with AutoCAD and have experience creating and amending construction drawings.
It would be beneficial to have mechanical or electrical CAD drawing experience, but not essential.
What you'll get in return
You will join a small but friendly and highly professional team based from their modern office.
Salary £26,000 to £31,000 depending on experience.
Working hours Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
You will be paid weekly, every Friday morning via BACS transfer.
Paid annual leave and public holidays.
