Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a Financial Services Administrator or part qualified Paraplanner to join their highly valued team. Responsible for everything you would expect within a Financial Planning Firm, you will make sure that all the admin is well maintained and ready for the Advisors to provide clients with advice on ways to best utilise their assets to achieve their objectives. The Business
Our client is an Independent firm of IFAs who provide high-quality personal advice on many aspects of wealth management and advice for their clients. They assist in the increasingly complex area of financial planning, providing guidance on pensions, protection for directors and tax planning.
A Typical Day
This could include preparing paperwork and valuations ahead of client meetings,producing tax calculations, maintenance of internal databases, dealing with new business applications as well as dealing with internal and external client queries, In addition you shall be responsible for chasing remuneration/adviser fees, setting up client meeting/diary management and assisting in all pre and post-sale administration.
Requirements
A proven background in administration is essential, along with excellent communication and organisational skills including a high standard of written and spoken English. Experience within financial services would be preferable, although not essential. - a genuine interest in the industry would be exceptional organisation and communication skills and an ambition to move towards becoming either a chartered Paraplanner or Advisor. Due to our client's location, your own transport is essential.
