The National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) has an unswerving commitment to high quality, evidence-informed teacher education, and is on a mission to improve the quality of teacher and leader development across the system.

As Senior Partnerships Manager, you will manage the development of partnerships for the NIoT North and West region by supporting the establishment of a new satellite campus in Bradford and the surrounding areas.

You'll contribute to partnership development across the region (including the Star Teaching School Hubs) and to the national partnership strategy work for the NIoT, building relationships with Trusts and schools who want to work with the NIoT on teacher training placements, as well as the ECF and NPQ programmes.

  • The ability to maintain relationships, influence and negotiate at a strategic level.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
  • Excellent customer service, putting our stakeholders at the heart of our decision making, resulting in greater customer loyalty and retention and a strong reputation in the marketplace.
  • Understanding of the regional and national education landscape and can apply this in your context to gain trust and credibility.
  • An established education network across the North and West.
  • A commitment to the aims of the National Institute of Teaching.
  • An interest in the education sector and a belief in the value of teachers and school leaders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office software packages, such as Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as search engines and online databases.
