Credit Controller

Locally established, dynamic and financially stable and growing business in Northampton. The team are hardworking and friendly, and really excited to welcome the new Credit Controller to the team. This full-time office-based Credit Control vacancy on a temporary to potential permanent basis. You will help chase overdue payments, and will form an integral part of their small, accounts team of 5. You will report to the Sales Ledger/ Credit Control team leader who reports to the Financial Controller.

Credit Controller job duties:

  • Chasing overdue payments
  • Issuing sales ledger invoices
  • Allocating payments to the sales ledger
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Creating payments plans
  • Setting up new accounts
  • Credit checking
  • Working to reduce debtor days
  • Supplying copy invoices
  • Producing monthly debtor reports
  • Liaising with the relevant contacts to set and analyse credit limit

Person:

  • Experience in Sales Ledger/ Credit Control/ Accounts administration
  • Able to commute to the office in Northampton on a daily basis
  • A can-do attitude to work and able to ask questions to get the job done
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Help other members of the team at busy periods and in turn they will assist you during your busy periods
