About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Procurement & Supply Chain Apprentice. This role will provide hands-on experience in manufacturing planning and administration systems, including JDE, MRP systems, and inventory management, with a focus on spend and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse inventory levels and schedule orders for both internal factories and external suppliers of finished products.
- Develop knowledge of different supply chain execution methods and apply them effectively.
- Support procurement activities, including supplier relationship management and cost control.
- Maintain and monitor MRP parameters (stock levels & demand) to ensure optimal inventory control.
- Communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth supply chain operations.
- Adapt supply patterns to enhance stock value while meeting demand.

- A strong willingness to learn and build expertise in procurement and supply chain functions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on cost control and service efficiency.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

- Salary £15,600 for first 12 months, then NMW or NLW for the remainder of the contract (18 months)
