**JOB PURPOSE

The Digital Merchandiser role is instrumental in developing the Digital Merchandising plan and Buying Strategy, while ensuring alignment with company strategy and creative vision. The Digital Merchandiser will manage the range and sales plans for future and current seasons, focusing on the key initiatives. The appointee will also be the operation lead in site optimisation activities to react to changing trading trends while ensuring digital initiatives are well represented on site.

**RESPONSIBILITIES

BUYING, MERCHANDISING

  • Define the Buy Strategy for your category each season and partner with regional merchandising teams on locally relevant assortments.
  • Work closely with Central Product Merchandising team to develop merchandise strategies to drive digital growth.
  • Partner with Regional Merchandising & Planning to ensure that digital has the right products and inventory at the right timing and drive new trading ideas in reaction to changing trends.
  • Support localisation by working closely with 6 sub regions through dynamic merchandising.
  • Implement new product roll-out strategy to support key corporate product initiatives by partnering with all key stakeholders including styling teams.

SITE MERCHANDISING & OPERATIONS

  • Lead site merchandising preparation for monthly delivery launches and ensure site merchandising strategy are well represented in the best commercial way.
  • VM curated pages that are balanced between art and commerce and ensure visual journeys through to product are consistent and optimised via assets and linking for Home and Landing pages.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing teams for product and links in emails, connecting with SEO and wider Digital Marketing teams including UX on product focus.
  • Work with Digital Operations and Customer ops to ensure key styles are content ready in time for launch, to deliver strong monthly messaging and sales results.
  • Lead teams to ensure operational excellence across various Ecom tools and platforms
  • Work closely with content team to assure smooth publishing process across the site.
  • Leverage in house reporting systems to identify areas of opportunity to further grow digital business; analyse trade weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly and report on dynamic merchandising activities to maximise sales and sell through as well as engagement

**PERSONAL PROFILE

  • 3-5 years' experience in related area.
  • Previous managerial experience, with proven trackrecord of effective delegation/prioritisation of work and successful mentorship and retention
  • Knowledge of various CMS and PIM tools.
  • Accuracy, great attention to detail.
  • Analytical, good numerical skills.
  • Strong excel skills
  • Good Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
