  • Job Type: Full time Monday to Friday

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Domiciliary Care division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving compliance and supporting the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with organisational priorities and resources. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage projects, deliver training, and ensure operational processes are compliant and evolving. The Operations Manager will also hold Registered Manager status as required and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Lead the continuous review and development of the organisation's software-based compliance and rostering systems.
  • Manage user groups and licences, ensuring appropriate access levels.
  • Develop and deliver system training to staff, and produce training materials.
  • Liaise with software providers to address system issues and future developments.
  • Lead projects to implement, update, review, and optimise software system usage.
  • Monitor and improve staff competence with computer-based rostering systems.
  • Undertake data cleansing and implement process changes to reduce errors.
  • Maintain high-quality services and ensure they exceed regulatory requirements.
  • Manage services in partnership with colleagues and establish KPIs for consistent achievement.
  • Manage projects to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Design and maintain quality assurance processes to promote high standards and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • IT literate with excellent working knowledge of care management software.
  • Experience in a health and social care setting, with at least 2 years in an operational management capacity.
  • Knowledge of legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including person-centred service delivery.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health, Social Care or equivalent is essential.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and a good team ethic.
  • Full driving licence with the use of own vehicle and ability to travel between division services.
