Position: Quality Technician - Automotive
Location : Southampton
Salary: £11.50 per hour
Contract Duration: 2 weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00am- 5:00pm
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Quality/Rework Technician to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting inspections, vehicle repair/rework, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of part components and vehicles to identify defects or deviations.
- Perform vehicle repair/rework on vehicles in the field.
- Document and report findings accurately using our in-house reporting systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles using diagnostic tools.
- Modify and upgrade electrical systems.
- Perform maintenance and repair work on vehicles, including brake, engine, or electrical repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and answering questions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in quality inspection or a related field.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
