We are seeking an experienced dumperoperative to join our team on a contract basis, working across various groundwork sites in the Newcastle and Gateshead area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to a range of exciting projects, with the potential for ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dumper trucks safely and efficiently on busy construction sites.
- Transport materials such as soil, gravel, and other aggregates as required.
- Assist with general site duties and support the groundwork team.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct daily checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS card with relevant dumper category.
- Proven experience working as a dumper operative in a construction or groundwork environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on-site.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Flexibility to work across various sites in Newcastle and Gateshead.
- Full UK driving licence.
