Day Support Project Worker vacancy waiting to be filled
Venn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available
Position: Day Support Project Worker
Location: Morecambe
Rate: £12.82 - £15 p/h PAYE (Including Holiday Pay)
Hours: 37.5 hours p/week , on a Rota , includes occasional weekedns (1/4)
Length: 3/4 Weeks
The role will predominantly involve:
- Inspiring young people and motivating them
- Teaching young people life skills
- Carrying out a strengths-based support work with applicants, facilitating the co-production of a person-centred plan, that enables individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations and the opportunity to identify and develop their talents.
- Helping getting young people into education and gaining independence
- Proactively ensuring residents are empowered to keep up with their rent payments, monitor rental income and keep rental arrears to a minimum in order to stay within the target percentage.
- Working with young people who have Mental Health & Childhood Trauma, creating support plans
- Small cleaning duties
The successful candidate must be able to start within short notice, Have an Enhanced DBS and have experience working with young people
