We are on the lookout for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine desire to help students with conditions such as autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and anxiety to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer tailored one-on-one or small group support to enhance student learning.
- Assist in the delivery and implementation of EHCPs and behaviour management strategies.
- Adapt educational materials to suit the individual needs of students.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Track and document student progress, providing valuable feedback to educators and families.
- Support classroom management and maintain an organised learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with children, especially those with SEN, is valued.
- Relevant qualifications in supporting teaching and learning or SEN support are advantageous.
- Patience, empathy, and a dedicated passion for educational support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong commitment to child safeguarding principles.
