We are pleased to be representing a fantastic client who is recruiting for an experienced Claims Handler to join their team.
Brief overview of role:
- Administer a range of claims including household, domestic, motor, third-party recoveries, subsidence, public and employer liability, personal injury, and commercial insurances.
- Take first notification from clients, issue claims forms, and validate claims against policy coverage.
- Liaise with insurers, loss adjustors, and uninsured loss recovery companies.
- Create and maintain claims files, ensuring accurate recording using IT software.
- Process claims efficiently and in accordance with policy conditions, consulting with senior management or legal representation as necessary.
- Comply with FCA regulation and company procedures, handling complaints in line with regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, producing meaningful reports for analysis.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle all queries professionally.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in claims handling.
