Experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturers and ECT's are encouraged to apply where you will be provided with support from ECT mentors and SLT to continue your development and reach your full potential.
Responsibilities:
- * Plan, deliver and assessing learners work, ensuring that all outcomes are met
- * Develop and update course materials as appropriate
- * Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons in line with College policies
- * Deliver engaging lessons and spread your passion onto the next generation
- * Manage classroom behaviour ensuring learners stay on task
You will play an important role in developing creative resources to inspire outstanding learning and will be responsible for the monitoring and tracking of learner progress to promote positive outcomes for learners.
Requirements:
- * Mechanical Engineering related degree
- * Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
- * Industry experience is desirable
- * Ideally hold a QTS or minimum level 5 Teaching qualification
- * Experience as Mechanical Engineering Lecturer working in Further Education
- * Have a willingness to impart industrial knowledge to the next generation of Engineers
- * Strong behaviour management skills
- * Excellent organisational and communication skills
