Page Personnel are exclusively recruiting for an experienced Payroll Manager on behalf of a well-established, global organisation.
This role will operate from their head office site in Didsbury, Manchester and the successful applicant will play a key role in managing and processing payroll functions.

Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll Manager will include:
- Managing the payroll function across 4 countries.
- Processing payroll ensuring that employee salaries, benefits, overtime, and deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining employee records and ensure financial confidentiality
- Generating reports: Create and share reports on payroll activity, especially for new hires and terminations
- Complying with regulations: Ensure that payroll practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as working hours and minimum wage
- Resolve payroll errors
- Pension management: ensuring the accuracy of pension deductions and payment reconciliations
- Monitor promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Completing all payroll journal entries at the end of each payroll period.
Profile
The Successful Payroll Manager should have:
- Strong experience working as an In-house Payroll Manager
- Implementation and process improvement knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of payroll software and MS Office
- Previous background in an accounts-based role (Desirable)
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Job Offer
- Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 can be slightly negotiable based on experience
