Management Accountant - Manufacturing Organisation
Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting an established manufacturing organisation in their search for a Management Accountant. Working as part of a small knit team, the Management Accountant will support the Financial Controller directly and play an instrumental part in process improvement and influencing strategic decisions.
The Role
The Management Accountant duties will include:
- Management of all general ledger balances and reconciliations.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and other financial reports such as sales and margin analysis reports.
- Presenting reports to senior management to aid with business decision making.
- Advising on the financial implications of business decisions.
- Support the Financial Controller with regular budgets, forecasts and cashflow models.
- Work alongside the Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Clerk
- Various other generic accountancy tasks such as expenses management, bank reconciliations, fixed asset verification and other group finance requests.
- Manage and supervise the financial aspects of regular stock-takes.
- Ensure standard costing and job costing methodologies are monitored, reviewed, and calculated correctly.
The Person
The requirements for the Management Accountant role are:
- AAT qualified
- Experience in manufacturing
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Strong communicator
