Position: Trauma Specialist
Location: Kidderminster / Stottesdon
Type: Full-time/Part-time
Hours: 08.45 - 3.10
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in managing trauma-related symptoms.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for children.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate trauma impacts and track progress throughout the therapeutic process.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of childs interactions and treatment progress.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in trauma care.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Care work or a related field.
- Proven experience working with trauma survivors, including familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
- Strong understanding of trauma and its impact on mental health and behaviour.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for clients.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
