Robert Half are working exclusively with an established investment management organisation based in Edinburgh. Our client specialise in managing infrastructure assets, typically focusing on public-private partnerships, infrastructure projects, and investments in sectors like transportation, health care, education, and utilities. This is a 14 month contract with a September start date. You will work within an established finance team and the role will offer hybrid working (1/2 days in the office). Suited to an experience finance assistant, bookkeeper or accounts assistant, this role will develop key accounting skills in a fast paced working environment.
- Purchase Ledger - processing invoices on Sage 200
- Bank reconciliations - weekly and monthly
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Credit control
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Assisting with payment run preparation
- Matching credit card receipts to statements
- Other adhoc finance duties
Must have:
- At least 3 years accounting experience
- Experience with sage
- Well versed in using Excel
- Pro-active attitude
- Positive mind-set
Salary & Benefits:
- £25,000 - £27,000 base salary
- 37.5 hours per week with flexitime
- Hybrid working (1/2 days in the office)
- 10% employer pension contribution
- Early finish on Friday
