A dynamic company based in modern offices is looking to expand its sales team by hiring a motivated and commercially-savvy Sales Coordinator who isn't afraid to be on the phone and enjoys maximising accounts.

What's in it for you?

  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch
  • Salary: £25,000 to £27,000, plus on target earnings of £30,000
  • 20 days annual leave rising to 24 with length of service

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Actively seeking out new business opportunities by conducting thorough market research and identifying businesses that may benefit from the service
  • Proactively calling companies to identify decision-makers and understand business requirements
  • Effectively promote products and services over the phone to existing and prospective business customers
  • Increase sales activity and account profitability within existing accounts
  • Handle incoming customer calls to assist with queries and process orders
  • Grow existing accounts by maintaining regular contact with customers, endorsing new and upcoming products, and promoting current offers
  • Negotiate product prices with suppliers to meet business and customer expectations
  • Maintain the CRM to ensure all customer details are up to date

Sales Coordinator Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar sales role is essential, preferably gained in a B2B environment
  • Passionate about building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Able to identify the needs and requirements of businesses and promote appropriate products
  • Flourishes in a telephone-based role with a confident and professional telephone manner
  • A team player who works well under pressure and enjoys working towards and exceeding targets
  • Proactive, dynamic and tenacious
