As a Physics Teacher you will be required to deliver, plan and mark exciting, and informative lessons to secondary students from Key stage 3 and above.

Day to Day responsibilities associated with the role:

  • Provide a comprehensive, well-rounded, and diversified physics curriculum that supports the advancement of the subject at all levels.
  • As a teacher and a form tutor, keep an eye on and assist pupil's general growth and development.
  • Establish a dynamic learning atmosphere that supports each student's unique potential.
  • Assist in increasing the bar for student achievement and monitor their advancement.
  • Participate in strategic and operational planning, which includes creating resources, organising lessons, and improving the syllabus.
  • Take part in ongoing professional growth, performance management evaluations, and staff development.
  • Continue to communicate effectively with parents, students, and other relevant parties.
  • Assist students with their pastoral needs by serving as a form tutor.

The following are the requirements that are required for this position:

  • Have a Right to work in the UK
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Provide 2 proven professional references
  • To be considered for this position, you should hold a relevant degree in science and possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary level is preferred but not essential, as we are also open to applications from newly qualified teachers who demonstrate a genuine passion for the subject.
