More about the Role
- Associates in this team have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of complex and stimulating work, including:
- Conducting high-profile internal and external investigations, often spanning multiple jurisdictions, and collaborating with authorities such as the SFO, FCA, PRA, NCA, OFSI, and international counterparts.
- Providing advisory services, due diligence, and implementing compliance programs related to bribery, corruption, sanctions, money laundering, human rights, and modern slavery.
- Handling related civil disputes.
Given the nature of the work, Associates have the opportunity to collaborate across borders as part of a multinational, multidisciplinary team. They prioritize finding practical solutions and take pride in partnering with clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 3-6 years of PQE experience in corporate investigations and financial crime, preferably gained from a leading law firm.
- Experience conducting internal investigations and liaising with government authorities such as the SFO, NCA, and FCA/PRA.
- Sanctions experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Enthusiasm, strong academic credentials, and a commitment to developing technical skills and client relationships are essential.
- Demonstrated client care skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are crucial.
