£28,500, negotiable depending on experience, bonus available after probation.

Experience with bills of lading document is an absolute necessity for this role
Our client is looking for someone who is experienced in Export Documentation/Bills of lading to join their multi award winning team. This role is looking for someone with a fantastic eye to detail, takes pride within their position and level of work.
Benefits:
- Monday – Friday (8:30am – 5pm)
- £28,500 with a bonus available of £100/£150 per month
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays (increases with service)
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Raising bill of lading instructions from shipper's invoice or shipping instructions
- Sending these documents to relevant supplier from either our company box top or ocean carriers' online portals or websites.
- Amending documents when required
- Entering VGM Via CNS or Destin8 online portals
- Completing origin / ATR / EUR1 Certificates when required
- Working to tight deadlines from customs and bill of lading
- Approving of bills of lading and arranging post to customers
Person Specification
- Must have 2 years of experience with the lading documentation in relevant field
- Able to raise a bill of lading instruction to ocean carriers
- To navigate carrier websites and check bill of lading for correctness
- Able to work as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Capable of using own initiative to problem solve daily
- Strong knowledge of word and excel
- Keen eye to detail to ensuring compliance with various shipping requirements
