3 month contract opportunity for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to support an enterprise level business with some tool migrations, technical and team leadership and some strategic technical decision making.
What you'll be doing
You'll be joining an established data department working with the Head of Data, the Data Architect, the Data Visualisation Lead and Data Governance Manager, as well as the wider IT & Infrastructure team. They've got 2 migrations to look at, one their ETL platform, and the other their analytics service. They've also got an ongoing Databricks POC project that you'll come in and support as well.
What experience you'll need to apply for this role
- Solid experience as a Senior/Lead Data Engineer
- Some team leading/development/mentoring experience
- Experience working with the AWS ecosystem
- Experience running migrations
- Enterprise level business exposure
- Databricks experience

A day rate of up to £475 inside IR35. 2 day per week in the office, 3 working from home. Central Bristol location.
