Robert Half are delighted to be supporting a business in the BS8 area of Bristol on the recruitment of a full-time and permanent Accounts Assistant to join the team.
We are ideally looking for someone who is recently AAT qualified or studying for their CIMA/ACCA and looking for a role they can develop and grow in, as well as 'own' their processes.
Working as part of a small Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial support to an international business with exciting growth plans. Our client adopts a hybrid working model which would require you on site in their office for 3 days per week.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include but not be limited to:
- Managing all supplier invoices, ensuring they have correct PO numbers, and are processed efficiently.
- Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure all queries are resolved.
- Continuously ensure adherence to different financial processes, company guidelines and compliance rules and policies.
- Producing monthly accruals for all un-processed invoices.
- Reviewing all vendor reconciliations.
- Daily posting of bank transactions, and bank account reconciliations.
- Completion of daily cash-flow reporting and monitoring cash balances.
Your Profile:
- Prior experience in a similar position is essential for this role.
- Recently AAT qualified or studying for your CIMA/ACCA qualification.
- A dynamic individual who is used to working in a commercial environment.
- Someone who is both proactive and takes initiative.
- Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable for this role.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £25-35k (dependant on experience) plus study support and further benefits.
