Responsibilities
- Cost Management: Oversee budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Project Evaluation: Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Tendering: Prepare and evaluate tender documents and negotiate contracts.
- Measurement and Valuation: Perform accurate measurements and valuations.
- Claims Management: Handle claims for additional work and disputes resolution.
- Cost Reporting: Provide regular cost updates to management.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in quantity surveying, with scaffolding experience.
- Skills: Proficient in industry software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project), strong analytical and communication skills, proven leadership abilities.
