About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team in Fernhurst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our operations, primarily handling 3-5 meter long plasterboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Handling: Efficiently and safely move 3-5 meter long plasterboards using a counterbalance forklift.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload delivery vehicles with precision and care.
- Stock Management: Organize and manage warehouse inventory.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License: Must have a current and valid counterbalance forklift license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, particularly with handling large and delicate items.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling tasks and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliability: Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
