Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
- Analyze project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers.
- Source and evaluate supplier quotes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and pricing trends.
- Ensure estimates are completed within set deadlines.
- Assist in bid preparation and submission.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in steel fabrication.
- Strong understanding of the construction, marine, or engineering sectors.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or construction management.
