Simon Acres are pleased to be working with UK's leading builders merchant who is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with HIAB certification to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for multi-drop deliveries to customers in the surrounding area, ensuring top-quality customer service. You will operate Class 2 HGV vehicles with a HIAB Crane, and in addition to driving duties, you will be expected to assist with yard and warehouse activities when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 2 HGV vehicles with a HIAB Crane for multi-drop deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist with yard and warehouse duties when not driving, including loading and unloading goods.
- Ensure compliance with all driving regulations, including maintaining a digital tachograph card and current CPC training.
- Work every other Saturday throughout the year, as required by the role.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Class 2 licence (required).
- HIAB certification and experience (preferred).
- Valid digital tachograph card.
- Up-to-date CPC training.
- Knowledge of the building industry and building products (advantageous).
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible in various roles.
