Role Overview:
My client are seeking a talented Senior Back End .NET Developer to join the team in Leeds and a mostly remote basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and developing scalable back-end systems that support research initiatives. Your expertise will help deliver robust solutions that will really make an impact on the public's health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality back-end systems using .NET Core.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Write and maintain unit tests, adhering to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
- Optimize database performance with strong SQL skills.
- Leverage Azure services to enhance application performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back End Developer with a focus on .NET technologies.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core and SQL.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with TDD and writing automated tests.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
