Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of water structures and infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural calculations, hydraulic modeling, and stability analysis.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct risk assessments, technical reviews, and quality assurance for water-related structures.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and contractors to ensure all requirements and standards are met.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, technical documents, and project plans.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety protocols, and best engineering practices.
- Innovate solutions to complex technical challenges, balancing efficiency, sustainability, and safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in engineering roles focused on water structures or civil infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of design codes and standards related to water structures.
- Proven experience in hydraulic engineering, geotechnical assessments, and structural design for water infrastructure.
- Demonstrated leadership in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to stakeholders.
