Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a positive and dedicated Caretaker to fulfil a Part-time, Permanent role within a small Primary school, located in Eastleigh.
The school is a happy and vibrant learning community where the needs of the pupils are put first. They encourage and enable all to grow, learn and flourish as individuals, becoming role models for core values within the community. The school are seeking a resourceful and flexible caretaker to join their brilliant support team, working with the Site Assistant to ensure the school is clean, safe and an environment to enable children to flourish.
As the Caretaker, your duties will include:
- Primary Keyholder for the school, and responsible for unlocking the site daily
- Routine maintenance and grounds work (eg, painting, sweeping and minor repairs)
- Working with Hampshire CC contractors to manage more significant repairs and project work
- Completing regular health and safety and statutory checks (eg, legionella testing, fire alarm testing, health and safety checks).
This role is a part-time, permanent position with a salary set at £11.98 per hour (£18,898 per annum (FTE £23,115)) and is 30 hours per week, set to start ASAP or October 2024.
