Our client is a fast-growing IFA practice that adds value through a detailed and comprehensive financial planning and investment process. They are looking for a Senior Financial Planner to join them in their office in Hampshire.
They would like someone with a Chartered status and minimum 5 years experience with a proven track record in business development and establishing client relationships. This role is a senior position in the firm which offers a pathway to partnership. You will receive full admin and paraplanning support.
General Duties:
- Establish and build strong relationships with clients.
- Review qualitative and quantitative analysis of client's existing products to determine whether they meet the client's current objectives and priorities.
- Understand the client's views and objectives.
- Identify any other needs the client may have i.e. legal advice.
- Preparing Financial Plans and Product Recommendations to meet the client's objectives.
- Maintaining records to support any research undertaken and carrying out all tasks in a manner that is consistent with compliance procedures.

- The ability to undertake detailed quantitative and qualitative research on legacy products, identifying where more in-depth analysis and questioning of providers is required.
- The ability to present concepts and recommendations in a clear and logical format using language which can be easily understood by clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact directly with clients and other members of staff at all levels.
- Excellent report writing skills with good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team, mentoring and supporting junior and/or inexperienced team members.
