Job Title: HR Administrator (Temporary)

Location: New Malden

Contract Type: Temporary

Start Date: September 2, 2024

End Date: 6 to 9 months Maternity cover

Number of People Required: 1

This role is Part time 3 days per week, flexible.

Our client are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an HR Administrator on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the HR Manager to assist in all aspects of HR administration.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
  • Process HR documentation, including new hire paperwork, employment contracts, and termination paperwork.
  • Coordinate employee on boarding activities, including preparing orientation materials and scheduling training sessions.
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including employee enrollment, inquiries, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide support for performance management processes, including performance review documentation and goal setting.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Support HR reporting and data analysis by preparing regular reports and maintaining HR metrics.
  • Stay updated on current HR policies, practises, and employment legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Handle general inquiries and provide assistance to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR administration or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and experience with HR software is advantageous.
  • A good understanding of HR policies and employment legislation.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
