What you'll do
- Apply MV/HV asset condition monitoring techniques, ensuring safer and more reliable networks.
- Gain authorisation for High Voltage (HV) testing, including cable mapping, Vacuum Interrupter testing, and transformer testing.
- Perform service work in Asset Diagnostics, such as condition assessments, partial discharge surveys, and data analysis/report writing.
- Collaborate with the team to improve asset condition data analysis methods.
- Provide general support across the team and the business.
- Split your time between office and offsite work, with flexible working options.
- Travel to various UK client sites 2 to 3 days a week when required (expenses covered including overnight stays).
- Occasionally travel overseas/offshore (additional allowances may apply).
What you'll need
- Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Electrical background essential (time-served Electrician)
- Knowledge of MV/HV electricity distribution and HV testing experience
- Full UK driving licence
