Red Recruitment is recruiting a Software Developer on behalf of our client, one of the leading providers of legal services in the Northwest.

You will be working alongside the IT team as they expand and develop their systems across multiple businesses within the organisation.

This is a fully office based role in Manchester, the salary is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities of a Software Developer:

  • Planning, mapping, developing and testing requirements
  • Documenting all development changes implemented
  • Working on developments required by the business from inception to competition
  • Reviewing existing developments to identify where improvements can be made
  • Inputting existing and future MI requirements
  • Maintaining documents and templates ensuring that they are updates as required by the business

Key Skills and Experience of a Software Developer:

  • SQL Server experience (database creation/maintenance, queries, views, stored procedures, SSRS)
  • Knowledge of C# / .NET / Visual Studios / PHP (Laravel) / API's / Blazor web applications
  • Experience in REST or SOAP services
  • Knowledge of XML / JSON
  • Knowledge/experience of software development methodologies e.g. Agile.
  • Proclaim Case Management Development is not essential but beneficial
  • You should have excellent communication skills
  • You should have the ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Being proactive in challenging and questioning the current systems, while offering solutions to improve processes is required
