Our leading commercial company based in Manchester City Centre is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone looking to take the next step in your finance career and progress through AAT and professional qualifications in the years to come.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis:
- Purchase ledger including posting and approving invoices, and processing credit card statements
- Sales ledger including setting up new accounts, allocating cash and dealing with queries
- Expenses processing and payment runs
- Chasing outstanding debt and updating on Excel
- Daily bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
- You will have previous experience in a similar position.
- Excellent system knowledge including advanced excel
- Team player and able to manage your own workload
