We are seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to children in our residential services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of each child in our care.
Day to Day of the role:
- Lead and manage shifts, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Follow and enforce the Placement Plan for each child, promoting and supporting their education.
- Provide guidance and support to all Residential Workers, ensuring professional conduct.
- Supervise designated staff members, maintaining accurate records of supervision.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and risk assessments, ensuring staff compliance.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development among staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard the welfare of children, adhering to Child Protection Procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within children's residential services.
- You MUST have a level 3 in children's residential services.
- Ability to lead and manage a team, providing support and supervision.
- Knowledge of Child Protection Procedures and commitment to promoting safe caring practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the service.
