Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Bradford who are recruiting a Graduate Accountant/Junior Accountant to join their team. You will assist the Group Finance Director in managing all aspects of the finance department including streamlining processes. Training will be given.
Location: Bradford (office-based)
Job-Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Accruals/prepayments preparation and postings
- Cash flow management
- Management foreign currency purchases, foreign supplier payments and forward contracts
- VAT returns
- P11d reporting and expenses
- Credit control management
- Company credit card postings
- Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and recharges
- National statistics reporting
- Liaise with professional parties (solicitors, banks, accountants)
You will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in accounts or a graduate in an accounting related subject
- Computer literate
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines within a fast paced environment
- Accurate with a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Excel, Sage 200, Sage CRM and SharePoint (desirable)
