Group Strategic Analytics is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank's businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank.

You will be joining the GSA Credit Risk Change Team. The team is responsible for driving and facilitating regulatory compliance, strategic transformation, and process re-engineering in relation to the end-to-end credit life cycle for the Corporate and Investment Bank. The delivery of change requires close collaboration with key functions within GSA and Credit and more broadly across the Bank, namely, Front Office and Finance. You will support the execution of a key deliverable that is high profile and part of the broader Bank-wide transformation.

Your key responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of complex projects (cross-divisionally/globally), accountable for the delivery of agreed project outputs to the agreed time, cost, and quality parameters within the agreed scope
  • Create and align a sustainable change vision for the delivery function, partnering with the Business & Infrastructure areas
  • Create and maintain a structured project plan with clear milestones and timelines, with supporting tracking mechanisms
  • Report progress and escalate issues across the book of work transparently, undertaking active risk, issue and dependency to keep stakeholders informed
  • Develop project/ product & change artefacts during the change lifecycle, (scope, business case, communication, training plans)
  • Build a deep understanding and/or leveraging subject matter expert knowledge, to ensure understanding of the business outcomes to articulate requirements

Your skills and experience

  • Demonstrable experience in managing projects with complex solutions, driving change in the financial services industry
  • Proven ability to effectively assess and mitigate programme risks and dependencies
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on data and facts
  • Strong relationship management skills. Ability to effectively communicate and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, preferably experience working within an Agile Framework as part of the software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Credit risk management processes, functionality and systems, financial products and international financial markets, and regulatory requirements for the credit risk management function would be preferred
