Purchase Ledger Clerk | £26,000-29,000 | Waterfoot, Rossendale
Axon Moore is pleased to be working in partnership with a highly valued and long-standing business in the Waterfoot area as they recruit for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Process and review invoices/credits
- Perform data entry of invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Prepare and process payment runs
- Assist with vendor setup and maintenance in the accounting system
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Package & Benefits:
- Salary £26-29k (dependent on experience)
- 28 days holiday including statutory
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch (office based)
