As Systems Engineer you will be part of the MOD Systems Engineering Department providing design and configuration of MOD and Government projects.
As Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned work including testing and evaluating new equipment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include
- Ensuring all drawing work and technical documentation are provided
- Verification of technical equipment IAW project specifications
- Visiting customer sites in support of projects when necessary
- Defining IP structures for new projects and provide guidance to the teams
- Defining equipment lists and specifications to projects office
- Verification of new software, ensuring that each build meets test criteria and efficiency
- Supporting customer meetings for future projects
- Providing training as required for new systems
- Liaison with MOD/Gov agencies as required for any trials
Experience required
- Educated to BSc or equivalent in Engineering or relevant subject
- Broad ICT and Satellite communications experience
- Professional registration desirable
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent, or Juniper similar level
- Be eligible for or hold a DV Security clearance
