Position: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Medway area. This is a long-term to permanent role for the right candidate. You will be working across Key Stages 1 and 2, providing one-to-one support for children with challenging behaviour and additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to children with challenging behaviour and additional needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a similar environment.
- Availability to start immediately.
- A clear enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
