Finance Manager, Worcester, £50,000-£60,000, Distribution Business
Greenwellgleeson are pleased to be working exclusive with a successful and profitable distribution business based in Worcester.
A hands on Finance Manager / Management Accountant with good reporting skills is required to manage the financial function of this business and support the Financial Director with other UK Group businesses that use the same systems.
The role will involve managing the day to day transactions, along with the following responsibilities:
Month End Close
Accounts preparations - accruals/prepayments, WIP
Producing management accounts - P&L and BS versus budget and LY
Uploading results to the group reporting package
Monthly payroll (c35 people)
Purchase ledger and weekly wages are dealt with by Purchase Ledger controller
One direct report, but group accounting assistant / administration staff support this role.
Annual budget calculations
Maintain and review financial policies and procedures.
BS reconciliations
Liaising with external auditors
The systems are:
Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision)
Excel
Sage 50 cloud payroll
