About Our Client:
Our client is a leading main dealer representing various brands across the UK. They pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service and providing high-quality vehicles, services, and parts to their customers. They are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join their team.

Parts Advisor - Job Description:
As a Parts Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and technicians who need parts for their vehicles. You will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts for both the service department and retail customers, ensuring that their needs are met efficiently and professionally.

Parts Advisor - Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts.
  • Maintain an organised inventory of vehicle parts, managing stock levels to ensure availability.
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Liaise with the service department to ensure parts are delivered on time for scheduled repairs.
  • Keep up to date with new products and promotions to advise customers appropriately.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Operate the parts department computer systems for ordering and inventory management.
  • Ensure the parts department meets all health and safety regulations.

Parts Advisor - Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a parts department, preferably within a dealership environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories (specific brand knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and parts catalogues.
  • A valid driver's license.
