My client is a reputable company based in Lisburn, who are currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join their team.

This is a Full-time time permanent position. Part time will also be considered.

Hours of work: Monday to Thurs from 9.am-5.30pm Fri 9am-5pm (45-minute lunch)

Hourly Rate £12 per hour – 12.50 per hour (rate is negotiable dependant on experience)

Job Role:

The focus of the role is to call existing customers, advise on availability and pricing of products, respond to product enquiries, and process orders efficiently and accurately. The Customer Service Administrator will work as part of a busy office-based team to build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with our existing customer base.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE Grades A- C (to include Maths and English)
  • 2 Years previous experience in customer service and/or telesales
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • A polite, confident, and friendly manner
  • Confidence with using computers and email
  • Negotiation skills
  • Good Team worker
  • Well organised and thorough even under pressure
  • Use of Initiative

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make and receive calls to/from customers to process orders.
  • Accurately input orders on Intact (computerised system) and generate collection notes.
  • Provide information on products, pricing, and availability to customers.
  • Update customer information on the database as required.
  • Process customer payments.
  • Understand the customers' needs and tailor the service to their needs.
  • Be patient with a polite and customer-focused telephone manner.
  • Adhere to company processes and procedures.
