What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the emotional, physical, and educational development of pupils, including those with special needs
  • Participating in planning, delivering, and monitoring individual education plan targets
  • Assisting teachers in maintaining a productive learning environment and implementing behavior management plans
  • Providing tailored support to pupils with communication, interaction, and learning difficulties
  • Undertaking midday supervisory duties, ensuring pupil safety and promoting positive playground behavior

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Comfortable working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • Skilled in building effective relationships with pupils to help them achieve their learning targets
  • Capable of assisting with individual and group learning activities, as well as classroom organization
  • Willing to participate in ongoing professional development and training
