My client based close to Malmesbury are an e-commerce retailer, they sell products across the UK and US markets predominately. They have achieved huge success and continued growth and are looking for a new Website Merchandising and Ecommerce Executive to join their marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Digital Marketing and working alongside the wider marketing team and product development team, this is a key role responsible for the planning and delivery of their ecommerce website to ensure their D2C website is maximised to be best-in-class for both customer acquisition, retention and optimised for maximum conversion rates.

They have a "customer first" mentality so you will help to develop a deep understanding of their customers' needs throughout the customer journey plus identify and execute improvements to drive business growth by optimising content and increasing conversion rates.

You will be updating the website content aligned with their campaign plans, uploading and ensuring all product information is correct and ensuring all products are merchandised to maximise conversion rates and average order values. Carrying out monthly site audits and focusing on always improving the user experience will be key to this role.

The successful candidate will have previous experience gained in a similar e-commerce or website merchandising role, good knowledge of e-commerce systems such as Magento, Shopify or similar, WordPress and other office systems will be required. A good understanding on SEO would also be required as well as strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills.

This is a hybrid working role with 1-3 days per week based in the office and the rest from home.
