Textiles Sewing Trainer / Gerrards Cross / up to £43,000
Are you an experienced Sewing Machinist Mentor / Trainer? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.
Based in a busy Sewing and Textile department, you will develop a training programme to meet the skill requirements of the department and the department skills matrices and development pathways as agreed with the Sewing Room Management Team.
Location / Hours:
You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.
37 hr week (Mon-Thurs 8.00-17.00 / Friday 8.00-12pm)
Requirements:
- Experience of training and developing people
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Experience of Textile Sewing assembly / manufacturing processes preferably within in the Aerospace / Defence / Automotive industry
- Sewing machine and fabric cutting operational skills
- Ability to create training plans and documentation
- Understanding of General technical drawing requirements
- Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3) Engineering related discipline or textile manufacturing experience.
