Customer Retention Advisor

I am seeking a dedicated Customer Services & Retentions Representative to join my client based in Shoeburyness. The right candidate will be responsible for managing customer retention activities and providing exceptional service to clients. A background in Insurance is desirable but not essential for this role.

Day to day of the role:

  • Handle and manage customer retention activities across Gadget and Travel policy products, meeting business KPIs.
  • Achieve individual objectives and key performance indicators as set and agreed upon.
  • Deliver high-level customer service through outbound and inbound calls and email management.
  • Participate in daily Socialisation Team Engagement sessions to foster team collaboration.
  • Provide professional support to clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Be proactive in maximising business opportunities through our products.
  • Ensure all policy administration is handled professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Support colleagues from all areas of the business, including liaising with insurance providers, claims handling, general administration, and dealing with customer queries.
  • Adhere to all company, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Hardworking, dedicated, and motivated to deliver exceptional service to customers.
  • Ability to work well in a team and possess the confidence to ask questions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in telephone communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong customer service ethos.
  • Experience with fraud investigation and management is advantageous.
