We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Office Manager to join one of our stunning venues. This is a sales management role with primary responsibility for driving new business from mostly a corporate sales platform whilst retaining and growing existing C&E accounts. The role will require thorough working knowledge of all key market segments and key clients within these, ensuring conversion rates are optimized and financial targets achieved. The position will be responsible for producing, delivering and managing sales plans to achieve venue sales, KPIs and supporting profitability targets as well as managing and motivating the event planning team members to achieve personal KPIs. The role is a 50:50 split between reactive and proactive sales for the venue.

  • Achievement of C&E sales budgetOwnership of sales and marketing plan for the venueMarketing and promotional activities for the venue, ensuring all websites and online directories are consistently updated and to brand standardsManagement and delivery of local corporate account plans (working with BDM team)Proactive sales activities for the venueReactive sales activities for the venue including internal client bookingsAccurate sales reports/forecasts and achievement of venue performance standardsManagement of the onsite C&E sales and events teamCommunication with central sales team and BDMs

  • Previous experience within hospitality salesMinimum 2 years experience in a similar roleThorough working knowledge of all key market segments, in particular weddingsAware of local, national and global trends in the wedding industryGood understanding and working knowledge of sales systems & Microsoft 365Managing and developing a team to achieve and exceed sales targetsExcellent communication skills – both oral and writtenCommercial awareness and to be able to understand links between sales and profit
