Business Centre Manager

We are currently working with a growing Property Management firm who are recruiting for a Business Centre Manager to provide day-to-day operational support on a mixed commercial office site in Waltham Abbey.

The ideal Business Centre Manager will have line management abilities with responsibility for a small team of facilities staff and can demonstrate previous experience overseeing large industrial lettings. They will have excellent customer service and experience managing tenants and sales.

Key responsibilities of the Business Centre Manager:

  • Dealing with tenant enquiries and managing their expectations with regards to the site and their workspace.
  • Managing customer enquiries, arranging viewings and organising sales and lettings.
  • Conducting audits and inspections of the site and units to ensure a compliant and safe working environment.
  • Booking maintenance requests and dealing with external contractors working onsite.
  • Overseeing minor works projects and developments including if required decommissioning/demolishing of units.
  • Maintaining high tenant occupancy and create rent forecasts for the coming months.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven success in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a small team (1 - 3 people)
  • Experienced in self generation of new business sales leads.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experienced account management is highly desirable.
  • Experience in property management in highly desirable.
  • Professional communication skills in building and maintaining business relationships.
  • Facilities Management or Health & Safety qualifications would also be beneficial though not required for this role.
  • Experience in previous P&L responsibility is highly desirable.
  • Good working knowledge of MS office, Excel, word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Team Player.

Role Package:

  • Full time, Permanent role - 37.5 hour contract
  • Monday to Friday 8.30- 5.30
  • Salary of £34,000 + generous bonus schemes
  • 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays + Birthday day off
